"This is Excalibur sword. The man capable of taking it from this anvil will be King of England". Legend has it that these were the words that first identified the most famous sword in history. Legend continues that young Arthur removed the sword prior to a tournament and was anointed king. The blade of this legendary sword was to be unbreakable, and would serve in many battles. Thus began one of the most romanticized and glorious periods of English history, where Knights of the Round Table dined at Camelot and Crusading knights set forth on their religious mission. Arthur's reign was cut short after the scabbard was stolen and he was mortally wounded. The sword was hurled into the sea, where perhaps it remains today. This sword's hilt is heavily embossed with dragons. The scabbard is leather wrapped and the handle is simulated wire wrapped and the pommel. The quillion and scabbard furniture are finished with a gold patina. This replica sword is a must have classic! Features Overall Length: 44" Weight: 5 Lbs
